Unibet, LeoVegas, Mr Vegas and BetMGM are the casinos whose pages name live roulette or a roulette game show. Every casino listed holds a Gambling Commission licence, and our team tests and checks every fact on this page.

The tables differ in format more than in rules. Evolution's own pages list standard European wheels, multiplier versions such as Lightning Roulette, camera-led Immersive Roulette, faster Speed Roulette and automated wheels with no dealer. Playtech Live adds roulette titles of its own. Casinos mix studios: LeoVegas names Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live and PlayTech games, and BetMGM names Evolution and OnAir Entertainment.

Live roulette games from the studios

Evolution's own pages name the roulette games below, each with a short line on what sets it apart.

  • Evolution's Lightning Roulette adds one to five Lucky Numbers a round with multipliers of 50x to 500x on a Straight Up bet, which pays 29:1 without one.
  • The XXXtreme Lightning Roulette version adds Chain Lightning for up to nine more lucky numbers, ten in total, and Double Strikes that lift a multiplier to between 600x and 2,000x.
  • The Immersive Roulette table is filmed with several cameras in 200 frames-per-second HD, with a slow-motion replay of the winning number.

The studio's other variants:

  • Live European Roulette: the core game, with the largest number of standard and VIP tables.
  • Speed Roulette: rounds of 25 seconds, with betting only during the spin.
  • Auto Roulette: an automated wheel and no live dealer.
  • Instant Roulette: 12 synchronised Auto Roulette wheels, unlimited betting time, and the next round starts when you press the button.
  • Double Ball Roulette: two balls and two winning numbers from one spin, with payouts of up to 1,300 to 1.
  • Dual Play Roulette: online players sit alongside players at on-premise tables.
  • Native Speaking Roulette: dealer tables in languages such as English, Italian, Swedish and German.

Playtech's live page names Quantum Roulette, Mega Fire Blaze Roulette and Roulette VZN, a hybrid of live and computer-run play.

Roulette tables at the casinos we checked

Unibet

Unibet's casino page names Evolution as the studio behind its live roulette and Lightning Roulette. The game show list adds Monopoly Roulette. Read the Unibet review for the full rating.

LeoVegas

LeoVegas lists XXXtreme Lightning Roulette from Evolution, Mega Roulette Live from Pragmatic Play Live and Mega Fire Blaze Roulette from PlayTech among its game shows. Its live casino page says the maximum bet depends on the game, with no fixed value across live games or across variants of one game. Its Live VIP Roulette page names Evolution as the studio. The LeoVegas review has the rest.

Mr Vegas

Mr Vegas says its live casino has professional dealers running real-time Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat and Poker, and names Lightning Roulette among its game shows. See the Mr Vegas review.

BetMGM

BetMGM's live lobby lists Exclusive Live Roulette from Evolution and BetMGM Roulette from OnAir Entertainment, each with a minimum bet of £10. These minimums are the only table limits stated. Its provider list also names Pragmatic Play Live, PlayTech Live and Ezugi. The BetMGM review covers the casino as a whole.

Unibet and Mr Vegas state no table limits. For the other casinos in the cards above, their own pages name no live roulette table with its studio.

Live roulette and bonus wagering

Check how a welcome offer counts live play before you use roulette to clear it. The offer terms say:

  • Grosvenor Casinos: a game contribution of 10% for all Live Casino games, game shows included, and 100% for slots. The welcome offer carries wagering of 10x on deposit plus bonus.
  • BetMGM: Live Casino counts 0%. A short list at 10% names Dream Catcher, Mega Ball, Low Stakes Roulette and European Roulette.
  • LeoVegas: Table Games and Live Casino games are excluded from the wagering requirement.
  • Unibet: table games count 10% and slot games 100%.
  • Casumo: the contribution varies per game.

The remaining casinos give no live roulette rate on their offer pages. Our live casino bonuses guide compares the offers.

Play within your limits

Set your limits before the first spin. Choose a deposit limit, a loss limit and a session time in your account, and keep to them. Live rounds and game show spins come quickly, so a session time matters more here than at a slower game. A bonus in your account, or a big multiplier lighting up the screen, is never a reason to raise a limit or chase a loss.

These are the tools each casino names on its own pages:

  • Casumo: wagering, loss and deposit limits, time-outs, reality checks, self-exclusion.
  • Unibet: deposit limit, net deposit limit, product block and product restrictions, self-exclusion.
  • LeoVegas: daily, weekly and monthly deposit and net deposit limits, loss, stake and session limits, time-outs, reality checks, self-exclusion.
  • BetMGM: the same list of deposit, net deposit, loss, stake and session limits, with time-outs, reality checks and self-exclusion.
  • William Hill: self-exclusion, deposit limits, time-outs, product blocking, session time reminders, account closure, parental controls.
  • Mr Vegas: wager, deposit, loss, max bet and time-out limits, a reality check, an account lock, self-exclusion.
  • Grosvenor Casinos: net and gross deposit limits, take a break, reality checks, game session reminders, self-exclusion.
  • 888casino: deposit limits, a time spent reminder, a break from your account, self-exclusion, parental controls.

Gamstop blocks you from every online site licensed in Great Britain at once. Each casino also runs its own self-exclusion. Never look for a way around a self-exclusion.

If gambling is causing you harm, talk to someone:

  • National Gambling Helpline (England and Scotland): 0808 8020 133
  • NHS Wales Helpline (Wales): 0808 2819 265
  • GambleAware and Gamstop both run help pages

These services are for people in Great Britain. You must be 18 or over to play.

Questions

Is live roulette fair?

The ball lands by chance on a real wheel, run by a dealer or by an automated wheel. Every spin is independent of the last, so past results, including any statistics view at the table, do not predict the next one.

What is the difference between European and American roulette?

A European wheel carries the numbers 1 to 36 and a single zero. An American wheel adds a double zero (00) to the wheel and the table layout. Evolution's page says its live American game has lower betting limits than its other roulette variants and an extra Five Bet.
