Casumo review for UK players

Casumo's live casino page describes a lobby of real dealers and real-time play. Its live blackjack line-up includes exclusive tables alongside tables from other live providers. The table limits vary by table: some run from £5 up to £5,000. Check the range on the table you open before you sit down.

Casumo lists Evolution and Playtech among many game providers, alongside Pragmatic Play, Microgaming and others. The pages do not say which studio streams which live table, so this page does not assign tables to studios. Our guide to the live casino studios explains what each studio makes.

Casumo's live casino page says its line-up includes game-show style favourites like Dream Catcher and Money Drop. Those are the game shows it names.

For how the main shows work and who makes them, see our guide to live casino game shows. Our Dream Catcher review covers that show in full.

The welcome offer is a deposit bonus of 50% up to £100 on the first deposit. The minimum deposit for it is £20. Casumo's offer page says to click on the Valuable before making your deposit, or the bonus cannot be used.

The wagering is 10x on the bonus amount. If the wagering requirement is not completed within 7 days, the bonus expires. The maximum bet while the bonus is active is €5 or local equivalent.

On game contribution, Casumo says contribution to wagering requirements varies per game, and that most games count towards it but not all. Casumo gives no separate figure for live games. Read the bonus terms for the game you plan to play before you use bonus money at a live table. Our guide to live casino bonuses explains what to look for in these terms.

A separate special promotion page shows a different deal: 100% up to £100 with 20 bonus spins, 30x wagering and a cap of £50 a round at live casino. Check which offer your account shows before you deposit.

The minimum deposit is £10 for all payment methods, and Casumo accepts payments in British pounds (GBP) only. The logos on its home page show Visa, MasterCard, Apple Pay, PayPal, Trustly, Paysafecard, Skrill, Neteller, MuchBetter and Instant Banking.

Casumo says a withdrawal request should be approved or denied within 3 days. After approval, PayPal, Skrill, Apple Pay, Neteller and MuchBetter payouts arrive instantly. Cards take up to 2 days and bank transfers up to 5 days.

Casumo charges no fee for withdrawals over £10. A £3 fee applies to withdrawals below £10.

Withdrawals can wait on identity checks. Casumo may ask for a current signed passport, a photo card driving licence, a national ID card or a government-issued photo ID. Until it is satisfied with its verification checks, it may restrict an account, including preventing withdrawals.

The operator is Recro Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of Malta with company registration number C77858. Casumo's terms and conditions state that Recro Limited is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission under account number 61549. The home page carries a Gambling Commission badge.

Pros, from our review kit:

• Welcome offer wagering of 10x
• 3,500+ games, the casino's own claim (no exact count)
• Live chat

Cons, from our review kit:

• Account and safety scores 3 of 5 in our rating: no active licence register status found on its pages
• Mobile scores 3 of 5 in our rating: mobile play in the browser or by download, no store app found

Our rating is 4.3 out of 5. It is built on five of six criteria. VIP and loyalty is not scored, because no VIP or loyalty scheme is found on Casumo's pages.

Set your limits before the first round. Choose a deposit limit, a loss limit and a time limit while you are calm, not in the middle of a session. Live rounds and game show spins come quickly, so set a session time as well and stop when it ends.

Casumo's terms list these tools: limits on wagering, loss and deposits, deposit and spending limits, time-outs, reality checks and self-exclusion. The same terms say that account limits and self-exclusion requests are valid for the Casumo website only and do not include other sites it operates.

A bonus, or a big multiplier on screen, is never a reason to raise a limit or chase a loss. If a session has gone badly, stop.
