Playtech Live is a supplier brand rather than a casino: its tables and shows appear inside other casinos' live lobbies. Playtech calls itself a global leader in Live Casino entertainment. Playtech is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission, and the register entry is listed under Sources. Our team checks every fact on this page against Playtech's own pages and the casino pages listed under Sources.

What Playtech Live makes

Playtech describes its live range in three groups: card and table games, classics with a modern twist, and game show content. Quantum Roulette and a set of blackjack variants sit in the second group. The branded shows carry licences from Family Feud, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, Deal or No Deal, The Money Drop and Fashion TV. Those names belong to their owners and are used here only to describe the games. Its original content includes the Quantum suite and live games based on its Age of the Gods and Fire Blaze brands.

Several formats are specific to the studio:

  • Mega Fire Blaze Roulette, Mega Fire Blaze Blackjack and Mega Fire Blaze Lucky Ball form the Mega Fire Blaze suite, modelled on the Fire Blaze slot series that launched in 2019.
  • VZN mixes live and RNG play, with Blackjack VZN, Baccarat VZN, Roulette VZN and Spin a Win VZN.
  • Live Slots puts a host in front of a Buffalo Blitz slot that every player at the table shares.
  • Wonderland Lucky Ball continues the Wonderland series.
  • Trivia Show Live is a free-to-play quiz that casinos can run around events.

Two streams come from named venues. Live from Las Vegas is broadcast from the MGM Grand, and Live from London from the Hippodrome Casino in Leicester Square. Family Feud Live from Vegas was made with MGM Resorts and Fremantle and is the first live casino game show streamed from the MGM Grand. To see how Playtech sits beside the other suppliers, read the live casino studios guide.

Studios and reach

Playtech names a flagship studio in Latvia, with live studios in Romania and Spain. In Latin America it has a presence in Peru and Brazil. In the USA it lists dedicated spaces in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, plus a Las Vegas space run in cooperation with MGM Live. It says more locations are planned.

On reach, Playtech says it added more than 120 new Live Casino brands internationally in 2026 and launched over 90 new customer sites and instances over the last year. It also says it holds the largest market share in Greece and Spain. For the whole group, its About page lists offices in 20 countries, c.7,400 employees, more than 180 licensees and more than 40 regulated jurisdictions. These are Playtech's figures, not ours.

UK casinos that list Playtech Live

Every casino on this site holds a Gambling Commission licence. Of the 8 casinos our team rated and checked for this page, 2 name Playtech Live content in their live lobby.

BetMGM's live casino page has a provider filter that lists PlayTech Live next to the figure 68. In its game show list it marks Family Feud Live and Wonderland Lucky Ball as PlayTech, with minimums of £0.01 and £0.10. It also lists MGM Exclusive Blackjack from PlayTech with a minimum of £20. These are the table limits the lobby gives for those games. The rest of the casino is covered in the BetMGM review for UK players.

The LeoVegas lobby lists Mega Fire Blaze Roulette among its game shows, with PlayTech as the studio. More on the casino is in the LeoVegas review for UK players.

The other 6 casinos do not name Playtech Live on the casino pages our team checked: Grosvenor Casinos, William Hill, Casumo, Mr Vegas, Unibet and 888casino. Grosvenor Casinos names Playtech iPoker Network for its poker, and Casumo names Playtech beside a slot. Neither ties it to live tables.

Play within your limits

Set your limits before the first round. Choose a deposit limit, a loss limit and a session time you can afford, then keep to them. Live rounds and game show spins come quickly, so a session time set in advance does more than a glance at the clock halfway through. A bonus feature or a big multiplier on screen is never a reason to raise a limit or chase a loss. Every round is independent, and no earlier result changes the next one.

The casinos on this page state their own tools. BetMGM and LeoVegas share an operator and give the same list: time-outs, reality checks, financial limits, daily, weekly and monthly deposit and net deposit limits, loss, stake and session limits, and self-exclusion. Use them before you play, not after a bad run.

Gamstop blocks every site licensed in Great Britain at once, and a self-exclusion is never something to work around. You must be 18 or over to gamble. If gambling is causing you harm, free help is available:

  • National Gambling Helpline, England and Scotland: 0808 8020 133
  • NHS Wales Helpline, Wales: 0808 2819 265
  • GambleAware and Gamstop each run a website with further support

GambleAware says its support services are available only to Great Britain residents.

Questions

Is Playtech Live the same as Playtech slots?

No. Playtech lists Casino and Live as separate products on its own site. The casino side is described as 8 content studios, while Live is the side with hosts, studios and game shows.

Where are Playtech's live studios?

Across three regions: Europe, the USA and Latin America. The flagship facility is in Latvia.
