Responsible gambling for UK players
Free help for UK players
If gambling is hurting you or someone close to you, speak to someone today. In England and Scotland, call the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133. In Wales, call the NHS Wales Helpline on 0808 2819 265. Both numbers are listed on GambleAware's help page.
GambleAware's website lists these support services, which are available only to Great Britain residents. We have not recorded a help line for Northern Ireland, so we state none here. For a block on gambling sites, see Gamstop under self-exclusion below.
Keep it in proportion
Decide your limits before you play, not during a session. Look in your casino account settings for deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion, and set them while you are calm. We do not list the tools casino by casino on this page, so read the casino's own settings and terms.
Live rounds come quickly, one after another with little pause. Set a session time before you sit down and leave when it ends. After a loss, take a break rather than playing on to win it back.
A big multiplier on screen or a promotion is never a reason to raise a limit. No pattern in past rounds predicts the next one: every spin is independent, so a run of losses never makes a win more likely.
Self-exclusion covers live games too
If you want to stop gambling, exclude yourself. Registering with Gamstop blocks you from gambling websites and apps licensed in Great Britain, which includes the live casino tables on those sites. Gambling businesses are also required to have their own self-exclusion arrangements in place, so you can exclude from a single casino as well.
What a single casino's exclusion covers is set in its terms. Where those terms say it covers linked accounts, the exclusion applies to those accounts too, so read them before you rely on it.
Another casino is never a way around a self-exclusion. If the urge to play returns, contact one of the help services listed at the top of this page instead.
Adults only
Gambling is for adults only. In most cases, the minimum legal age for gambling in Great Britain is 18, and nothing on this site is meant for anyone under 18. Keep logins and payment cards out of the reach of children.
If you share a phone, tablet or computer, block gambling sites on the device itself. Open the device's settings, look for parental controls or content restrictions, set gambling websites to blocked and protect that setting with a code only you know. Repeat this in each browser profile that other people use, and do not save card details or stay logged in to casino accounts on a shared device. A block on the device is a second layer and does not replace Gamstop.
